Slide show presentations are available to civic organizations on similar topics and can be customized for specific groups and their interests. Public displays and environmental presentations are available upon request for community events such as municipal fairs and community events. To schedule a presentation or to learn more, contact us at 732-291-4084.

Environmental Restoration

Restoration work is an ongoing process in the Manasquan Watershed. Information and tours are available to visit sites in need of restoration and sites where restoration work is occurring. Presentations focus on restoration strategies and state-of-the-art techniques available for restoration.

Municipal Support

Environmental Commissions, Planning Boards and Township Committees are utilizing the services of the Manasquan River Watershed Association to learn more about the environmental condition of their community and what they can do to protect the environment. Municipal officials request formal presentations and expert testimony on development projects in their communities. Municipalities will be required to do more than ever under the new stormwater management regulations. Towns interested in help with the new rules should contact the Manasquan River Watershed Association for assistance.

Regional Planning

The Manasquan River Watershed Association has the unique ability to focus on a regional scale when addressing environmental issues. The organization is not bound by political boundaries and promotes regional planning among the thirteen municipalities in the Manasquan River Watershed. We are hopeful that all 13 municipalities will participate in our regional planning program. By planning together, we can accomplish much more through our environmental efforts.
